We want to share with you what we usually do to boost our creativity and get inspirations!
Head-out and pop to your nearest stationery store; and for those of you #VINNspirations in Melbourne, you're in luck! As today we are going to share with you our favorite stationery stores there! And braced yourself because these are no ordinary stationery stores!

Wilkins and Kent is a furniture custom making and home wares store located in Brunswick St Fitzroy; you mind will be blown away by all the creative things they have there. Jeremy Wilkins and Stephen Kent have been producing functional and aesthetically appealing furniture at their Fitzroy workshop since 1993.
Their furniture design is simple yet effective with decoration which emphasis on functional design - clean, simple lines and use of contrasting timbers. Sounds just like our cup of tea!
"We draw a lot of inspiration from early settler furniture where function was the main requirement, but it was important to individualize pieces to remind one of home or more comfortable surrounds" says Jeremy.
Jeremy and Stephen don't limit their inspiration to a single style or period. Like their fellow designers, they incorporate and adapt elements or materials and inject it into their works. Their ideas have often evolved over a period of time and this helps to ensure that their furniture works both functionally and aesthetically. They try to balance custom making with making new pieces for the shop. This helps them to move their range along. Jeremy and Stephen still deal directly with many of their customers, always ensuring that the pieces will work in their clients homes and perform the function their clients require.
